Taking action for our kids and community

SCEG will be at the One Planet Festival on Saturday March 16 to share information and answer community questions about the Ridgeline Trail.

We are thrilled to be part of a ground swell of climate action on the Surf Coast.

This one-day festival on the Torquay Waterfront, features local, sustainable food stalls, workshops, kids activities, films, local artists and much more!

We will be at the Surf Coast Environment Group (SCEG) stand sharing information about the work we are doing to bring the Ridgeline Trail to life. If you are interested, please introduce yourself for a chat.

We know the Ridgeline Trail will contribute to tackling climate change on the Surf Coast.

29% of carbon emissions in Torquay and Jan Juc are from transport. If we can make it safer, easier and more fun for kids to walk or ride to school rather than being driven, we will be doing our part to help lower emissions.

When: All day, 16 March 2024

Where: Elephant Walk, Torquay Foreshore.
